The Hollywood Insider is reporting that 13-year-old actress Chloë Moretz, best known for her breakout role as in Hit-Girl in Kick-Ass, has been cast in the upcoming live-action Emily the Strange film to be released by Universal and Dark Horse Comics.
Chloë Moretz as Hit-Girl
Emily the Strange isn't your average 13-year-old. The goth-girl icon was created in the early '90s, and first appeared on stickers to promote the Cosmic Debris clothing line. In addition to having multiple books and comic books, she can also be seen all over the world on everything from stationary and clothing, to skateboards and even a guitar!
Emily is easily recognizable by her long black hair, black clothing, and the four black cats that are always by her side: Mystery, Sabbath, Miles, and Neechee. Hopefully all of the cats will be making an appearance in the long-awaited film!

I may have an idea who will voice which cat:
ReplyDeleteMystery: Loni Love
Miles: Seth Green
Sabbath: Danny Bonaduce
Nee Chee: Johnny Depp
Wow, that would be an amazing line-up! Are they still making the movie? I haven't heard anything about it lately.
