Animal lover June Suttie recently threw a lavish birthday celebration to commemorate the 21st birthday of her Burmese cat, Jill.
The over-the-top bash featured a champagne reception, open bar, four-course meal, and ballet recital. Guests who didn't want birthday cake were given Kit-Kats, and "every lady was given a single stem rose on arrival."
70 guests attended the affair, which Jill enjoyed from the safety of her cat carrier.
June Suttie told the Daily Record:
"I have had Jill since she was born 21 years ago and she's a great friend. I just hope that she is going to see her next birthday as well. It was a really magnificent day and Jill was in her element. When she turned 20, we had a small party - but this time I decided I was going to really push the boat out."

That's just excellent. It's so nice to hear of a cat living such a long life. It should be celebrated in style! Bravo.
