As a thank you for interviewing her back in November, my friend Jane from knots & knives sent my cats Charlie and Priscilla a very special delivery just in time for Valentine's Day - a set of their very own, handmade designer neckties!
The ties arrived inside a pretty silver envelope, wrapped in brown paper, and sealed with a black heart sticker!
Opening the packaging revealed an adorable pair of feline accessories - A neatly packed necktie for Charlie, and a bow tie for Priscilla!
Charlie was my first victim.
My cats aren't really interested in wearing clothing, so I was interested to see how they would react. Surprisingly, neither of them gave me any trouble slipping the stretchy, adjustable ties over their heads.
Charlie acted a little weird at first, but after a few minutes he forgot he was even wearing the tie and carried on with his business.
I caught Prissy in the middle of a nap, so she was more amenable to the idea of modeling some kitty couture.
She told me the bow tie fits in perfectly with the whole "tuxedo" look she's going for.
Very special thanks to Jane and her cat Salvador for their very thoughtful gift! They just opened a brand new Etsy shop dedicated to their cat creations called Snoop Catty Catt, and to celebrate, they're offering free shipping to everyone!
OH! We just LOVE the look! Just between you and me, I'll tell you one thing....those look a heckofalot better than the (gag)tie (or even the outfit) that Sam chose.
