Arm Length vs. Where The Cat Sits

This one hits really close to home! In particular, my cat Charlie, who by all accounts is an extremely sweet and friendly cat, loves to do this to me. Sometimes I'll even be already petting him, and all of the sudden he'll get up like he has to go somewhere, only to sit down a few inches further away and just out of reach. Does this ever happen to you?

  1. Ah yes. Arm length vs where the cat sits! With 4, I know it well. And at times, no amount of coaxing can change that span.

  2. LOL..I just e-mailed that picture to my husband at home!! We laugh all the time because Kasey will come rushing over to us for pets and then sit just out of reach of your hand!

He's like..okay, I am really glad to see you, but being a cat I don't want to appear needy, so you must come the last bit to me!!

Eventually if we hold our hand down he will come over and bonk it with his head!

  3. Bobo used to do this ALL the time! Cody? Nope? Cody is our "close talker"....he can't get close ENOUGH...he has to be right in your face!
