Welcome back for another exciting edition of Caturday, where we get to know some of my readers fantastical felines! This week is all about a gorgeous girl with an inquisitive nature, that earned her the name Nosey Rosie!
I'll let her proud owner, Michelle tell you more about this little tabby with a big heart!
Rosie was just a tiny, furry, blue eyed kitten, who fit snugly in the palm of my hand, when she was rescued a few years ago from some of the harshest of winter elements by my 11 year old daughter, Madelin. She was abandoned, cold, and hungry, and it was obvious that she was in need of a warm and loving environment. It wasn't hard to provide this precious little kitten with her wants and needs, since it was love at first sight!
Her charm and personality captured our hearts from day one. As a tiny kitten, she would follow me around from room to room to observe my every move, purring and playfully pawing at my feet as I walked. Her curious nature is what made her name, Nosey Rosie, an easy one to choose - Which by the way, was also my daughter Madelin's nickname when she was little.
Rosie has been with us for four years now, and is truly a blessing to have around. She greets me at the door every day when I come home, as if she wants to say, "I missed you!" And before you know it, she's made her way up on to my shoulder and is purring and licking me. It's the cutest thing!
She has a favorite toy that she loves to play with (a toy dolphin, in the pic above) which she will bring and drop next to my pillow at night while I'm asleep. I like to think that she misses me and wants to play while I am sleeping, and that it's also a reminder that she wants to play immediately when I wake up!
Some things she seems to enjoy are sun bathing, looking out of the window, drinking directly from the faucets...oh! And having her picture taken. :)
Thanks, Michelle! Nosey Rosie is simply purrfect, and I love hearing about how much joy she's brought into your family's life! You rescued her from the harsh, cold winter, and she's rewarded you with all the loving warmth she has to give! (Soaking up all those sun puddles doesn't hurt either!)

What an adorable kitty! I love this story too. It's sad so many cats are rescued this way. Maybe the new cat allergy vaccine will stop people from dumping cats as cute as this one!
