Is this not the saddest little kitten you've ever seen? The Daily Mail reports that "Pink Panther," as she's been nicknamed by the staff at Cats Protection charity, was rescued along with her three feline siblings from an abandoned concrete factory in Redruth, Cornwall. It's believed that the kitten gained her pinkish hue after coming into contact with red pigment used in the concrete manufacturing process.
Rescuers tried to wash the color out, but have concluded it will probably have to grow out over time. The kittens were weak and malnourished when they were first found, but are now being well cared for until they regain their strength and can be adopted!

Oh....look at that face. She is just the cutest. Thank God someone found them. Great ending.

For a moment, I thought some cruel humans subjected her to a terrible, traumatic dye job. I'm so happy she and her siblings are well. Just precious.
ReplyDelete@Tasha When I first saw the story, I was afraid of the same thing, and was relieved to know that wasn't the case!
ReplyDeletePrecious babies. How sad the pink baby looks. Thank heavens they are rescued.
ReplyDeleteAwwwww.....I must have this precious baby! Wouldn't it be cool if she stayed pink forever? (assuming no lasting ill effects of course).
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! I hope the pink pigment from the concrete will not harm her.
ReplyDeleteAw, she's adorable! We sure hope the pink pigment doesn't have any harmful effects, though.

ReplyDeleteOh no, it is a sad news..for the part that kitties were abandoned and Pink Panther got artificial color. But it is a great news that they are rescued and in good hands. I hope the red pigment is not harmful to her health.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetheart! Glad they were rescued and hope all is well with their health.
