Oh, did you know? The first Friday in June (that would be today!) is National Donut Day! The delicious holiday was created by the Salvation Army in 1938 as a way to honor the women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I. Many shops across the U.S., including Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' Donuts, are offering free donuts today to help celebrate. God Bless America!
As for my contribution, I tracked down pics of these decadent kitty donuts from Bob's Coffee & Doughnuts, located inside the L.A. Farmers Market. I'm California Dreamin' all over again!

Yum!!! I love your donut pics... but I hate them too because they make me hungry!! I guess it is a good thing there are no donut shops in this little town. =^..^=
cute! that place in the farmers market is good!
OMC - I don't know if I could eat a donut like that.... OK - maybe.... LOL
omg yummy!!
So glad I'm not seeing these on an empty stomach!
OH...MY...Theese ones look excellent especially because the Human is on a special diet...
how did i miss out on DONUT DAY! WAH!
Too cute, I wis they had cat shaped donuts here
I love the idea of doughnuts, but I wouldn't want to eat one of those.
As they're all well done, I'd just look at it. Someone else could do the eating.
Of course I could get my head around it, but the idea of eating a cat feels odd.
