Meet a Tabby's Place Cat: Kendall

Tabby's Place

When I visited Tabby's Place last week, I asked Angela if there were any particular cats I should feature. Of course all of the cats are worth a special mention, but she said that Kendall would be a good pick because she doesn't currently have any sponsors.
Kendall is around 9-years-old, and was brought to Tabby's Place in early 2011 when she was surrendered at a shelter across the country because her owner could no longer afford to keep her. As I mentioned in my previous post, the cats are all delegated to their own areas of the sanctuary based on their needs, and Kendall happens to be the "resident" cat of the on-site hospital.
Kendall in action
On the day I visited, she was busy monitoring patients who had recently undergone medical procedures. Well let me tell you, this girl is a chatty little Cathy, and I couldn't even get a clear picture in between her furious cavalcade of meows!

Meow, meow, meow!
This beautiful Bengal mix suffers from renal failure and Irritable Bowel Disease and requires two abdominal ultrasounds a year to monitor her kidney disease, along with a prescription diet to help control her IBS. Click HERE to learn more about Kendall, and to find out how you can sponsor this lovely girl.

Vote Catsparella for Best Social Integration Blog at the 2011 Petties Awards, and if I win, I'll donate the $1,000 prize to Tabby's Place Cat Sanctuary to help Kendall and other special needs kitties like her. You can vote every day, twice a day, through July 29th!

What a dear! I also have IBD, so I really feel for this girl, and with a face like that how could anyone resist? I just might be the first lucky person to sponsor her!
