New York Fashion Week is in full swing, and fashionistas of all breeds have been spotted around town, working the catwalk the only way they know how.
One such cool cat is Mr. Wendy, a 15-year-old cancer survivor who modeled for the Spring/Summer 2012 Rachel Antonoff presentation last week. The handsome black kitty posed with Addams Family-esque models, and added a touch of realism to the spooky black and white dollhouse theme. This was the fourth Antonoff fashion show for the cat, who got his name after being rescued from a dumpster behind the fast food restaurant of the same name.
In this behind-the-scenes video for ModCloth, Mr. Wendy's owner Amy Lippincott says that modeling is his "favorite thing to do," confessing, "He loves the attention from beautiful women, and laying in the sun."
(Twitter / @mrwendycat yes, he tweets too!)
Designer Antonoff herself is no stranger to cat lady chic. Earlier this year, her collection for Bass shoes also featured a kitten-themed marketing campaign.

Fashion cat!
I was at Lincoln Center too! Sorry I missed Rachel Antenoff's presentation and Mr. Wendy. Here's my pic from Reuters: http://news.yahoo.com/photos/fashion-design-1309387527-slideshow/cat-natasha-finkel-photographed-lincoln-center-during-york-photo-222422477.html
