Best in Show: Knit Your Own Cat

Who needs to waste time knitting cat sweaters, when you can cut out the middleman, and just knit yourself a cat? (Also possibly a great gift for pals who are allergic to the real thing?)

Best in Show: Knit Your Own Cat, by Sally Muir and Joanna Osborne, not only comes with instructions on how to make 16 cat breeds, but also optimistically promises, "It will take only a few evenings to create a covetable companion for life." Obviously they've never seen me with a pair of knitting needles, but if I could get it together, I'd be cranking these out by the bushel.
