If I ever wanted to know what it felt like to be a tuxedo cat, wearing a Kigurumi costume would probably be the closest way for me to find out. Kigurumi, the Japanese street fashion whose name comes from the verb kiru (to wear) and noun nuigurumi (stuffed toy) has made its way to the US, much to the delight of street pajama wearers everywhere.
These oversized hooded costumes come in an endless array of styles (Red Panda, anyone?), and are way more cute and fashionable than wearing a boring old Snuggie. Admittedly, you probably won't find me modeling one anytime soon, although I'm tempted by thrill showing up to a local cat show in one could bring.
Fred Flare has several styles available for pre-order now, or check out the Kigurumi shop for even more catty fun, such as "Tabby Cat" and "Halloween Black Cat." And don't worry, they also have some plushy hats too, for those who aren't ready to go the full furry route just yet.
Oh my goodness... if I didn't think my hubby would divorce me I might get one of these... they just look so snug!!! =^..^=

ReplyDeleteI kept asking my husband why no one is having a Halloween party lol. He told ME to have one but I don't want to! I just had Rosh Hashanah here and that was MORE than enough for me!
