Tissue Box Alert: Boy Tearfully Reunites With Missing Cat on Video


This video dates back to 2010, but it's been making the rounds of the internet this week, and definitely worth a share. Last year, an 11-year-old cat named Clyde went missing for an excruciating 12 days, leaving his entire family, most of all a 10-year-old boy named Jared, completely devastated.

Fortunately, someone recognized Clyde from a lost and found ad, and returned the missing kitty while Jared was at school. What follows, is the touching surprise reunion between the boy and his lifelong kitty companion. Brb, crying my eyes out.


Bonus clip: Clyde also enjoyed a happy reunion with the family's German Shepherd, Triton.

    Goodness, glad you told us to get a tissue. It was needed. That is so great that someone found the cat and they were able to get it back.Good stuff. Take care.

    This is my kitty and son. I'm so glad that these videos are giving so many people joy. :-) Clyde is doing fantastic, as is Jared. I'm amazed at how popular these videos have become. :-)

    You're welcome, Catsparella :-) I did another search to see who's been posting the video and found you again--quite a few months later! There's a 2nd video of the reunion of Clyde and our German Shepherd, Triton (who we sadly lost to pancreatic cancer). There's also another video of Clyde loving up my hubby. Both links are in the description of this video on YouTube. :-)
