Acknowledging that the key to internet success is through felines, Toronto-based John St. ad agency has created a spot about the launch of the "world's first and only" Catvertising agency. Cut from the same cloth as Kittywood Studios, the company has vowed to create their own in-house cat production outfit, where they can crank out low-cost kitty vids based on the "Four Pillars of Creativity," including "Persuasion, Unignorable, Relevant, and Rememerable" (P.U.R.R.).
Although meant to be a parody, many of the ideas expressed in the clip aren't that far off. Including cats in commercials is often the key to a viral hit, and as Creative Director Stephen Jurisic truthfully laments, "Nobody wants to see ads anymore. They want cat videos."
