Oskar The Blind Kitten Plays With Toys For The First Time

Anyone who's ever doubted the abilities of blind cats have never read Homer's Odyssey by Gwen Cooper, or met this sweet little kitted named Oskar.

Oskar was born blind, and but his disability doesn't prevent him from doing anything his big bro, a cat with full sight named Klaus can do.

His owners write in the video description: "Since he is completely blind (born without formed eyeballs) we gave him some balls with bells inside. As you can tell, he can "see" them by using his ears! He is such a happy and inspiring cat -- we are blessed to have him with us."

The video was taken in July when Oskar was only 8-weeks-old, but you can see more recent clips, including his epic hair dryer battle, over on his YouTube page.

  4. @Pull Your Socks Up! According to Oskar's owners, the song is called "A Change of Days" and is by a band called Smith's Cloud :)

  6. Beautiful kitten. Brave one too. He tried to smack that hot air coming at him instead of running from the noise like my full grown cat! lol
