Welcome back for a special Cinco de Mayo edition of Caturday, where we catch up on the week's latest cat news, and get to meet some of your amazing kitties! This week, Snooki defended her cats against Twitter haters, Anderson Cooper met 40 lb. Meow, Cee Lo Green and Purrfect the Cat reinvented the Meow Mix jingle, an Iranian special needs cat got a second chance at life in the U.S., Temptations caused an online feline frenzy with KittyCat Hijack, I caught up with my furry friends at Tabby's Place, Maid of Clay wowed us with her innovative Knitty Kitty yarn bowls, and Around the World in 80 Cats took us to "Cat City," home of Malaysia's famous Kuching Cat Museum.

Noreen and Doris
This week's featured felines are a stunning mother and daughter duo who come to us from Lauren, who writes:
Noreen is the chocolate/champagne Burmese, and Doris (the brown Tortie Burmese) is her daughter. They are the friendliest cats you could ever meet, and they love to be cuddled and to sleep in bed with you at night. Doris has three legs as she unfortunately lost the feeling in one of her front legs after an accident (no-one knows what happened), and therefore it had to be removed. She does however cope really well and is still her lovely, bubbly self.

I have loved both Anderson and Matt Lauer's encounters with Meow...they are both so lovey-dovey and sweet to that fat lil' cat! Makes me smile. =D
I especially loved synchronized napping too. Doris and Noreen look like little angels. No wonder Doris is a beauty --- look at her Mom!
what a pair...and the spooning is so cool. I luv sleeping with my Mom and Dad so I totally get why they like to do that too!
