Welcome back for another edition of Caturday, where we catch up on the week's latest cat news, and get to meet some of your amazing kitties!
This week, I tried out some catty new nail art, found a cheaper version of Charlotte Olympia's pricey cat flats, got amped for the 2012 Itty Bitty Kitty Committee fundraiser, purred for Studio Legohead's flowery feline portraits, indulged in mega cute tuxedo cat cupcakes, and went Around the World in 80 Cats to discover some beautiful feline photography out of Romania.
Also, in case you missed the banners, icons, Facebook updates, kitten alerts, etc., Catsparella has been nominated for a 2012 Pettie Award in the category of Best Use of Social Media Blog! Read all of the gory details here, and help us defend our title and win $1,000 for the deserving kitties of Sayreville Pet Adoption Center by clicking HERE to vote for us once a day through July 31st!
Cookie
This week's featured feline is a sweet treat that you definitely want to meet!
Raquel writes:
My kitten, Cookie, is just about 7 months old. She's bratty, spoiled, but I absolutely love her to death. She has quite the personality!
She stumbled into my life last December when her mother's owner found out his cat was pregnant. Oddly enough, Cookie was the only kitten she had.
Her owner really did not want another cat around and decided to give her away. Unfortunately, this meant we got Cookie at an age that was much too early to be separated from her mom.
Luckily, we've been able to take great care of her and now she's growing up to be a healthy and happy kitty. The whole family loves her and her crazy attitude!
Special thanks to Raquel for sharing her delicious Cookie with us this week! With a name like that, how can you help but want to eat her up?

Cookie is beautiful. Thanks for sharing her story. I was glad to hear that in spite of being taken away from her mother at an early age, she is adjusting well.

ReplyDeleteShe's adorable!
ReplyDeleteCookie is too cute and she reminds me of my Trixie! They have similar "trouble-maker" looks about them. What a great story!
