Cheeto The Kitten's Road From Rescue To Recovery
He liked Subway or really any food at that point.
Redditor Chasemburger did the good deed of nine-lifetimes when he rescued a starving, flea-bitten kitten while working on the set of an independent film in Virginia. The orange cat, named Cheeto after Chester Cheetah because of his large head and tiny body, was "just a bag of bones and fur," before he was fed, bathed, and given a warm, safe place to recuperate.
Every step of Cheeto's journey was captured on film, and just weeks later, the ginger cutie is now a healthy, playful boy who has found his forever home with Chasemburger's mom.
Check out some highlights of his story below, and visit The Recovery of CHEETO! album on imgur to view the entire heartwarming set.
Battling the cold, starvation, dehydration, and covered in bugs, fleebies, and his own mess- the little guy is worn out. 1 lb 2 oz.
He was covered in at least a couple hundred fleebies and serious grime. That water was clear before we dunked him.
Checking out the new adjustments. He had a serious chest cold at this point and a high fever.
This was his safe place until I got him on a plane.
3 Weeks Later - We can't get him to stop playing. After all his shots, antibiotics, food, and sleep- he's a playful kitten again.
Full Recovery - My mom adopted him- well, I let him stay in her apt. for one night and that's all it took. Cheeto's new home!

What a sweet story. Based on the bath water, that was one dirty kitty.
