Dot
Handkerchief alert! This week's featured feline's story is an emotional one that brought a tear to my eye, but thankfully it has a happy ending!
Diana writes:
Here is a happy and healthy Dot. She is 13-years-old, and had been struggling with tummy problems for almost a year. After many vet visits, tests, and blood work, no one knew what was wrong or how to cure her. She got so sick and lost half her body weight. She went from 12 to only 6 pounds. As much as I tried to prepare myself for her trip to the rainbow bridge, I couldn't do anything but cry and hold her frail little body.
Dot as a kitten
I have had her since she was a baby kitten and she is my kitty soul mate. She has been there for me through so much in my life. My heart broke at the thought of losing her. The good news is that in November, she made a miraculous recovery. She gained some weight back and is her old self again. Dot the cat still has a lot of love and cuteness to share for 2013.
Special thanks to Diana for sharing Dot's story with us this week! I can't imagine how frightening her illness was, but am relieved to hear Dot is doing better, and wish them both good health, lots of love, and much happiness in 2013 and beyond!

Dot,
I'm so glad you are still pouncing for the year 2013. You're a tough kitty.
I love your heart warming story.
Thank you for sharing Dot's story. <3
Dot you are so adorable. I am so glad you got better. Sounds so scarey for you and Diana.
