It's Caturday!

Welcome back for another edition of Caturday, where we catch up on the week's latest cat news, and get to meet some of your amazing kitties!

This week, I spent a night with Amazing Acro-Cats and Rock-Cats, Team Coco presented songs to sing to your cat, and we met Gilles Marini's precious new kitten, Penelope!

Elsewhere, The Garden State Cat Club Cat Show and Expo is happening this weekend (June 20 & 21) in Somerset, NJ. It's one of the biggest cat show/expos in the country, and is always a lot of fun! I'll be hitting the floor on Sunday, so if you see me walking around - don't be shy and say hello!


Ozzy

This week's featured feline is a fluffy orange sir named Ozzy!

Marge writes:

Ozzy is a year old and a dear sweet soul, I just adore him ever so much. He is very people friendly, and likes to play with my 7-year-old dog and our new puppy. He likes to go on walks, and when my husband is out with the dogs he will follow along. He really has quite a lot of personality, he is wise and wonderful. 



I tried very hard to make him an inside cat, but he kept escaping. When he wanted to go out and we wouldn't let him, he would throw a hissy fit and climb the shutters in the windows, having a temper tantrum. 



Finally, I gave up and would let him go. Now I leave our bedroom window open and he climbs in and out as he pleases (thank god he never goes very far!). I do worry and fret over him being out but he insists he is an outside cat. He comes in to eat, sleep and for a cuddle.
